These images were made for Malt Fire & Barrel restaurant in Midrand, South Africa. The client wanted shots of their popular menu items for their in-store televisions as well as other media applications.
The shots were made using natural light in and around the restaurant on a Saturday morning before the restaurant opened.
Honey Fashion Accessories is a direct-selling company based in Johannesburg, South Africa. A network of consultants sell their range of various fashion accessories including jewellery, watches, handbags, shoes and sunglasses.
We work with Honey to create the quarterly catalogues to showcase their seasonal collections. Honey sales consultants use the catalogue as a tool to sell the products to their networks.
In addition to the catalogues, Honey uses the assets we produce for them to create social media and WhatsApp promotional campaigns.
All the product images are created by ID Digital Studios in our in-house photographic studio.
This project was for a digital promotional campaign for Honey Fashion Accessories. The campaign brief was for the images to have a beach/holiday feel. The launch date of the promotion was just before the December summer break and the products were a part of their summer collection.
Going on location was not possible, due to budget and geographic constraints, so we shot the scenes in our parking lot on a bed of sandpit sand in full sunlight. We then composited the shots to look like they were actually shot at the beach.

A shot done for the magazine Blaque Life Quarterly for an interview with musician Petite Noir. The shot was used as a double-page spread with copy on the right-hand page.
This is a product shoot commissioned by Schaeunburg South Africa, manufacturers of mining safety equipment. The images were used in their product brochures, website and expo stands.
To add visual interest to the shots we printed a circuit board schematic on our large format printer and used it as a background element.
We continually shoot products for Annique Rooibos. It is imperative to keep lighting and angles consistent so that both existing and new products can be composited together in their marketing, promotional and advertising materials.
In addition to photography, we have designed and produced their monthly sales catalogue, Beaute, every month since August 2010.
